Who needs a commercial license

A commercial license is required when a Six Labors library is used as a direct package dependency in closed-source, for-profit software produced by a business earning more than 1M USD in annual gross revenue. Yes, a license key is required to build the software. On signup you will receive a 30-day trial license key by email. A full 1-year license key is issued by email after the trial period ends and your transaction is complete.

You will no longer be able to build the software. If you are continuing to use Six Labors products you will be in violation of the license agreement.

Community licensing is application-based. Please apply at licensing.sixlabors.com.

Nonprofits and Charitable Organizations are not required to purchase a license.
